Renovation of a fire / police facility in Keene, New Hampshire. Working plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

**As of November 10, 2022, no bids received. 20023 The City of Keene is seeking Bids for HVAC Ductwork at the Keene Central Fire Station. The scope of the work is to provide all labor and materials to remove insulation as noted on the drawings and properly replace or add insulation to prevent condensation. All duct surfaces will require insulation at thickness of no less than specified with a vapor barrier outer surface. Insulation upgrade work is limited to the 2nd floor ductwork and equipment. The City expressly reserves the right to reject a bid from any Contractor who has within the last year, or is currently not, in substantial compliance, as determined by the City Manager, with the time requirements or other significant provisions of a City of Keene contract. This provision shall in no way be construed to prohibit the City Manager from rejecting any bid for other reasons. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive technical or legal deficiencies, and accept any proposal that it deems in the best interest of the City. Any BID may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of BIDS or authorized postponement thereof upon written or verbal request of the Bidder, provided written confirmation of any verbal withdrawal (with the signature of the Bidder) is placed in the mail and postmarked prior to the time set for Bid Opening. Bid documents and security of any Bidder withdrawing his bid in accordance with the foregoing conditions will be returned. Bids, when opened, shall be irrevocable for a period of ninety (90) calendar days following the bid opening date. Following a review of all bids by the City Manager, that official will award the Contract to the best responsible bidder. The City Manager's judgment shall be final and the right is reserved by the City, through its City Manager to reject any or all bids as he/she may determine and to waive defects in form or minor irregularities where the best interest of the City would be served. Each BID must be accompanied by a BID bond payable to the OWNER for five percent of the total amount of the BID. As soon as the BID prices have been compared, the OWNER will return the BONDS of all except the three lowest responsible BIDDERS. When the Agreement is executed, the bonds of the two remaining unsuccessful BIDDERS will be returned. The BID BOND of the successful BIDDER will be retained until the payment and performance BONDS have been executed and approved. A certified check may be used in lieu of a BID BOND. iquidated damages will be in the amount of: $0 for each calendar day of delay from the date established for substantial completion $ 0for each calendar day of delay from the date established for contract completion The successful bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within 10 days following notification of the acceptance of his bid. The low BIDDER shall supply the names and addresses of major material SUPPLIERS and SUBCONTRACTORS within 10 days of receiving Notice of Award.
