The Dallas County Hospital District dba Parkland Health & Hospital System (Parkland) is currently accepting request for qualifications (RFQ) for Design Build delivery for Deconstruction & Demolition of existing Old Parkland Hospital buildings. Please note: You must be registered with Parkland in order to submit questions and to submit a proposal. Point of contact is Steve Adrian, steve.adrian@phhs.org The anticipated Notice to Proceed and Substantial Completion dates with respect to the Project or any Work Package shall be coordinated and approved by the Project Manager. The Final Completion date shall be thirty (30) working days after the date of Substantial Completion. The Design Builder is required under this Agreement to provide, without limitation, Design, PreConstruction and Construction Services within a Guaranteed Maximum Price for the Project. Design Builder acknowledges that the Project is a part of the District larger MFP. Design Builder further acknowledges that the District may be constructing Projects with other contractors at the same time and in the same vicinity as Design Builder's Work. The Design Builder will be responsible to provide full access to the Work area and will cooperate and coordinate its efforts with the District Separate Contractors in the construction of any other Project within the overall MFP. Design Builder agrees to develop the Construction Schedule with consideration given to these other activities as well as to the fast-tracked nature of the Project. The Design Builder is not eligible to receive any additional compensation or fee mark-up on the other elements of work performed by the District Separate Contractors Design Builder shall achieve Substantial Completion of the Work no later than the date established in the GMP Amendment; as such date may be adjusted thereafter in accordance with the terms of the Contract Documents. Design Builder shall achieve completion of the Punch List Work no more than sixty (60) calendar days after the Substantial Completion Date. Final Completion of the Work, which without limitation shall include the delivery of all close-out items and final accounting, shall be achieved not more than one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the Substantial Completion Date.
