Site work and renovation of a detention facility in Canton, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.
The work consists of site work, minor building renovations and generator replacement. Some of the scope of work will need to be coordinated with Stark County EMA if there are any shut downs. Some of the specific scope of work is listed below, ALL other detail scope of work is indicated on drawings and specifications 1. The switch over from the old generator to the new generator shall be performed with NO down time. The EMA needs emergency (back-up) power at ALL times, a temporary generator will be required. 2. Coordinate shut down of existing parking lot with Owner. 3. Contractor shall remove the existing generator and all associated power lines/conduits and fuel lines 4. Contractor shall remove the existing underground fuel tanks, fuel line and any other associated components, Contractor shall remove and properly dispose of existing diesel fuel. This scope of work shall meet ALL requirements per State/Local Fire Marshall and BUSTR. www.com.ohio.gov/fire/BUSTRResources.aspx 5. Contractor shall properly backfill area of demo/removed fuel tanks and plant grass *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
