Renovation of an educational facility in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Contractor must carefully review the General Conditions, Supplementary General Conditions, and General Requirements regarding any Milestones and Liquidated Damages. As a condition of submitting a bid for this Project, and in accordance with California Public Contract Code section 20111.6, prospective bidders must be prequalified and on LAUSD's list of approved vendors which is available Online. Any bidder not shown on LAUSD's list of approved vendors at the time of bid shall be deemed nonresponsive. Additionally, if this Project includes work that will be performed by mechanical, electrical or plumbing ("MEP") subcontractors (contractors that hold a C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43 or C-46 license who contract directly with a prime contractor), such MEP subcontractors must also be prequalified and on LAUSD's list of prequalified MEP subcontractors which is available at the same website noted above. Any MEP subcontractor not shown on LAUSD's list of approved vendors within 24 hours after the time of bid may render the bidder's bid non-responsive. Details regarding LAUSD's prequalification program and requirements can be found at https://www.laschools.org/newsite/prequalification/ Developer has not included additive/ deductive alternates as part of the bid for the Project.
