Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Work Covered by Contract Documents: Installation of 3-inch Purple reclaimed water line including bends and fittings. Installation of 6-inch Purple reclaimed water line, by open cut and trenchless construction, including bends and fittings. Installation of 12-inch steel casing, by trenchless construction, including bends and fittings. Installation of 6-inch gate valve and box. 6-inch wet connections to existing reclaimed water system. Installation of air release and vacuum relief valve with manhole. 3-inch wet connection to existing irrigation backflow preventer, including disconnection, plug, and isolation of existing potable water line connection. Installation of 3" backflow preventer and 3" gate valve with connection to new 3" reclaimed water line and connection to existing irrigation line, including all bends and fittings. Trench safety as required per Section 01561. Implementation and maintenance of traffic control plan. Site restoration including removing and replacing concrete sidewalks, driveways, removing and replacing asphalt pavement, damaged fences, turf, plants, trees, and shrubs. Each bid shall be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of total base bid. If certified or cashier's check is used as bid security, check must be drawn on a responsible bank located in the State of Texas and made payable to Owner only. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects and to reject any or all bids. In case of the lack of clarity or ambiguity in prices, the Owner reserves the right to accept the most advantageous or reject the bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide payment and performance bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
