WQ0010955001 The major items of work include: Construction of a new elevated reinforced concrete headworks deck, installation of a new perforated plate mechanical screen with washer/compactor and bypass manual bar screen, construction of a new dumpster pad and chute, installation of handrails around headworks deck, replacement of coarse air diffusers and valves at the west aeration basin, construction of walkway, stairs and handrails around the east and west aeration basins. Construction of access driveway and sidewalk. Demolition and legal disposal of existing manual bar screens and miscellaneous piping and valves. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond from a reliable surety company drawn to the order of HARRIS COUNTY WCID NO. 116 in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. No bid proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to it.
