Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in East Weymouth, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Town of Weymouth, Massachusetts, acting through its Department of Planning and Development invites sealed bids for "Town of Weymouth, Massachusetts, Hazardous Materials Abatement and Demolition - Former Municipal Incinerator," in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by BETA GROUP, INC., Consulting Engineers, 315 Norwood Park South, Norwood, Massachusetts, 02062. The location, general characteristics, and principal details of the Work are indicated in the Bidding documents, including a set of drawings, entitled "Town of Weymouth, Massachusetts, Weymouth Hazardous Materials Abatement and Demolition - Former Municipal Incinerator." The work in this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the abatement, handling, loading and off-site management of oil and hazardous materials, building demolition of the stack and municipal incinerator and site restoration at the former Municipal Incinerator at 87 Wharf Street. CONTRACTOR and/or their SUBCONTRACTORS bidding on this contract must be certified by DCAMM in the categories of "Demolition" and "Asbestos Removal". If a CONTRACTOR does not have either DCAMM certification their SUBCONTRACTORS bidding on this contract MUST be DCAMM certified in both categories.
