Site work and paving for a civil project in Easton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The project comprises of approximately 2,500 lineal feet of water main extension, including road restoration, on two (2) roads in Forks Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Pavement (sub)contractors shall be PennDOT pre-qualified and pavement work must conform to the latest Specifications of PennDOT Publication 408. Quantities may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the Authority and are solely for the purpose of determining the lowest Bidders. Proposals exceeding $25,000 will be performed under Prevailing Wage Rates as established by the Pennsylvania Dept. of Labor & Industry. This project is subject to the provisions of PA Public Works Employment Verification Act 127. A Certified Check, Money Order, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the total Bid must accompany each proposal. A Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Certificate of Insurance and other documentation will be required upon awarding the Bid. Easton Suburban Water Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to add, delete, modify, or change the Bid quantities as they determine to be in their best interests. All water main construction, including appurtenant water utility facilities, trench backfill, and temporary pavement restoration shall be completed by November 26, 2021. Final completion, including permanent pavement restoration Work shall be by March 31, 2022.
