Renovation of a residential development in Clintonville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

Boiler, System and Accessories Replacement The work consists of: The replacement of the existing boilers, pumps, accessories, piping, etc. Proposals will be accepted as a lump sum for all of the proposed work including HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical. Supplies and materials to be delivered to the site and the labor provided to install the materials for the project items noted. Proposals will be accepted for the Project on individual Company letterhead. Prices are to be per the Construction Documents. The successful proposal will be determined based upon the highest point ranking with the following criteria; experience with similar boiler replacement projects, reference checks, experience working with Davis Bacon wage rates, warranty provisions, schedule to complete the work and all other items being equal, review of the lowest bid of the responsible, responsive proposer. Each item noted above to be rated to a maximum of 10 points per item or a total of 100 points. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities thereof. No bidder may withdraw their proposal within 30 days after the actual date of the proposals being due. The Requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 apply to this project and that; to the greatest extent feasible contractors shall fulfill their obligation to utilize lower income residents as trainees and/or employees. * Reference Federal Register (33884-33887), June 30, 1994, Subpart 135.38. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the "Notice of Requirement for Affirmative Action to ensure Equal Employment Opportunity (Executive Order 11246) and Supplemental Instructions to Bidders" contained in the bid documents, which sets forth, in part, goals, and timetables for the employment of women and minorities in the project area. Contractors and subcontractors are required to pay not less than the DavisBacon prevailing wage rates established by the U.S. Department of Labor included in the project information.
