Prepare Concept Plans, Field Check Plans, Utility Field Check Plans, Office Check Plans and Final Plans, Cost Estimates, and Bidding Documents. Prepare Right-of-Way Plans and Legal Documents for the Appraisal and Acquisition of necessary easements. Secure Certificates of Title for those properties from which easements will be appraised and acquired. Provide field survey staking for easements to be appraised and acquired. Prepare a Geotechnical Engineering Report for the substructure elements of the proposed bridge. Prepare and submit all necessary applications for permits required by the Corps of Engineers, State of Kansas Department of Agriculture, Division of Water Resources and any other Federal or State Agency with permitting authority over rivers and streams in the State of Kansas. Assist the Shawnee County Department of Public Works Utility Coordination as defined in the Shawnee County Design Criteria, latest edition. Plans to be prepared in accordance with KDOT Design Standards for Bridges, latest edition for letting by the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT).
