Remodeling and renovation of a municipal facility in Kearney, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for the remodel of a municipal facility.
renovations and a new addition to the existing building and site at 610 Second Avenue, Kearney - renovation to the 18,400sf existing building and a new addition of 1,120sf. Construction elements include concrete footings, concrete masonry, steel studs, gypsum board, hollow metal door frames with wood and hollow metal doors, aluminum storefront, EIFS wall finishes and EPDM roofing. The scope of Mechanical equipment will include new gas fired roof top units mounted on the existing roof, ductwork and VAV boxes. The whole facility is to be fitted with a fire sprinkler system. The scope of the electrical work includes the existing, new building and yard lighting. A portion of the project will be Federally funded and has Davis Bacon requirements.
