Estimated Budget $1,500,000.00 - $1,700,000.00 For Furnishing All Labor, Materials, Equipment and Services Required for: Bethel Midtown Village - Phase I Demolition and Related Work at 105/155 Hickman Drive Athens, Georgia 30601 Funded by Athens-Clarke County Splost 2020 - Project 02 Work will include the demolition of 6 multi-family dwelling structures, grading of approximately 5 acres and excavation of storm water detention facility. Refer to complete Bid Documents for full scope of work required. A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder from an acceptable surety in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond(s) in the amount of 100% of the Contract Amount. We anticipate issuing the Notice to Proceed by Friday, September 17, 2021 Bids shall not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. Award of contract is subject to approval by Athens-Clarke County Unified Government. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bid process.. The General Contractors submitting bids or being considered for this work shall be licensed to perform such work and meet E-Verify requirements of the State of Georgia. The MBE/WBE goals for this project will be to endeavor to attain 20% participation by qualifying MBE subcontractors, 5% participation by qualifying WBE subcontractors, and 5% participation by qualifying Section 3 subcontractors.
