Johnson County Stormwater Management Program is beginning a new Pipe Replacement Program. The need county-wide far outstrips available funds and recent changes in the County's Administrative Policies have moved a portion of their flood remediation funds for the Capital Improvement Program to the new Pipe Replacement fund. This fund is set up to be a 50:50 cost share. 8 projects were submitted for funding consideration that meet the new program parameters. 51st Place and Monticello West is the proposed project for 2022 and includes the replacement of three pipes (394 LF) and three (3) structures. Annual, as well as, historic pipe and structure condition inspection data provide the basis for prioritizing repairs. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
