Site work for a pipeline in San Jacinto, California. Completed plans call for site work for a pipeline.

The work to be constructed is located along Mountain Avenue (also known as Ramona Expressway) in the City of San Jacinto, beginning at Oak Knoll Road and ending at the intersection of Old Mountain Avenue and Mountain Avenue. The work comprises construction of approximately 1,800 linear feet of 18-inch diameter PVC C900, DR 18 pipeline, two points of connection to the existing water system and associated shutdowns, appurtenances, trench and pavement repairs within the City of San Jacinto public right of way and all other work associated with permitting, traffic control, and proper installation of the water main. Bonding Estimate: $1 Million - $1.5 Million All questions must be submitted in writing by 5:00 p.m. on FRIDAY, JULY 30, 2021 to Mr. Nathaniel Olivas, PE c/o Jill Lloyd; EMAIL: olivasn@emwd.org & lloydj@emwd.org. Questions received after this time may not be responded to. All bonds shall be executed by admitted surety insurers, as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory surety bond (by utilizing the District's Bid Bond form BB-1) for not less than 10% of the bidder's total contract price as a guarantee that the bidder shall, within seven (7) days after the mailing of a notice of acceptance of bid by the District to the bidder, enter into the written contract supplied by the District. The District shall return the bid bond, upon request. The Contractor shall furnish a faithful performance bond in an amount equal to 100% of the amount of the contract and a labor payment bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount. Bidders on this work will be required to be licensed by the State of California as Classification A - General Engineering Contractor and/or Classification C-34 - Pipeline Contractor at the time of the bid and at the time of award as such license is defined in Section 7056 and/or Section 7058 of the Business and Professional Code and Section 732 of the California Administrative Code. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
