Renovation of a mixed-use development in Coeur D Alene, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include Base Bid: Removal and replacement of existing glazing and stops on the main floor windows of the Molstead Library. Bid Alternate #1: Removal and replacement of existing glazing and stops on the second floor windows of the Molstead Library. Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work. Section includes surface preparation and application of wood stains and transparent finishes on the following substrates: 1. Interior Substrates: a. Dressed lumber (wood glazing stops). Immediately after installation, remove nonpermanent labels and clean surfaces. Protect glass from contact with contaminating substances resulting from construction operations. Examine glass surfaces adjacent to or below exterior concrete and other masonry surfaces at frequent intervals during construction, but not less than once a month, for buildup of dirt, scum, alkaline deposits, or stains.
