The project involves the construction of (3) new toilet/shower facilities in the Quaker area of Allegany State Park, near the Indian/Circle/Reed, Creekside, and Kaiser cabin trails. Construction includes site utilities, site improvements and pavement, plantings and landscaping, storm and foundation drainage, excavation, foundations, concrete slabs on grade, masonry walls, metal stud partitions, wood frame roof structure, fiber cement siding, metal roofing, aluminum windows and doors, FRP doors, porcelain tile, bathroom accessories, interior and exterior painting, interior and exterior power distribution, outlets and electrical devices, interior and exterior lighting, smoke/carbon monoxide detection systems, energy recovery ventilators, ventilation systems, duct work, in-floor electric radiant heat systems, associated control systems, exterior and interior potable water lines, exterior and interior sanitary drains, and plumbing fixtures. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond in the amount of: D005819 Plumbing Contract $32,600.00 Effective January 11, 2020, for any projects where the project design commenced on or after January 1, 2020 and for any contracts over $5,000 for the work of construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, or improvement of any State building, a responsible and reliable NYS-certified Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise that submits a bid within ten percent of the lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder provided that the bid is $1,400,000 or less, as adjusted annually for inflation beginning January 1, 2020.
