A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Prevailing wage threshold (N.J.S.A 34:11-56.25 et seq.) in New Jersey is $16,263.00 for public works projects. Rockaway Township is seeking quotes for professional Dam Engineering design and geotechnical services to develop conceptual design improvements for the Mt. Hope Pond Dam. The dam impounds a spring fed reservoir with a normal surface area of approximately 18.5 acres and a drainage basin estimated at 0.15 square miles. The dam consists of an earther embarkment with stone masonry and concrete spillway (overflow weir) approximately 220 feet and 12 feet long, respectively. The height of the dam is approximately 15 feet. The NJDEP accepted the one-half probable maximum precipitation (1/2 PMP) as the design storm, with a peak inflow of 1,050 cfs.
