The Governing Board (the "Board") of the Gonzales Unified School District (the "District") is seeking proposals from qualified providers of architectural services for the design and construction of a new elementary school(the "Project") within the District. As currently scheduled, the Governing Board of the District will select an architect for the Project at its regular Board meeting on August 10, 2021.This meeting will be held online and in person at the Gonzales High School Library, beginning at 6:00 PM.The meeting may be accessed via Zoom using a link provided on the District's website. However, the District may choose to select the architect at another meeting, on a different date The Work includes the design of the Project, in addition to services required before and during construction. The Project will involve construction of anew elementary school and all associated facilities including playgrounds, athletic fields, and parking areas, excluding costs for design, construction management or DSA approval/inspection.The architect will be expected to perform the scope of services described in the architect's proposal, which will constitute a basis for the final negotiated contractual agreement that the architect must execute.
