The project entails the rehabilitation of one 1.50 MG ground storage tank at the Austin Parkway Water Plant and one 0.35 MG ground storage tank at the River Park Water Plant. The rehabilitation includes but is not limited to, blasting and coating of tank interior and exterior with full containment, removal and replacement of tank appurtenances, installation of a 6-foot wide concrete sidewalk, miscellaneous site work, disinfection, clean-up and site restoration. The rehabilitation of one 1.00 MG ground storage tank at the Greatwood Water Plant is included in this package as an additive alternate. If funding allows, the contractor is to proceed with the approval from the City of Sugarland on the rehabilitation at the Greatwood Water Plant.
