Expansion and upgrades and renovations of the municipal Centre Alain-Grandbois to transform it into a Multi-Cultural Municipal Library. The scope of the project includes the construction of an addition that will increase the building area from 1,145 m2 to approximately 2,600 m2, major interior and exterior upgrades and repairs to all building systems. TIMELINE: The project is included in the City three-year capital expenditure program 2024-2026. The professional consultant awarded by the owner following the request for proposals DOS-2369 /1856548 has completed the preparation of a functional and technical program of the project. The owner is in the process of contract awarding to professional consultants pre-selected for design of the project. Construction start of the project is preliminary slated for mid-/late 2026.
