Hynes Convention Center Loading Dock - This project includes providing all labor, equipment, implements, and materials required to furnish and install all HVAC work (complete and operable), all as more fully set forth in the Drawings and Specifications. General Bid Deadline 9/3/21 Time 12:00 P.M. Questions or requests for information, clarification or interpretation of the bidding documents must be submitted in writing to bflynn@massconvention.com and cc imetaj@signatureboston.com in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be received no later than 5:00 PM, August 13, 2021. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, work listed under Section 230000 Paragraph 1.2 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, and as described in the Contract Documents. Provide all labor, equipment, implements, and materials required to furnish and install all HVAC work (complete and operable) as shown on the drawings and as noted in specifications. See items below for additional information on scope of work. The HVAC contractor will be the General Contractor on this project. The General Contractor is also occasionally called Contractor in this specification manual. Following trades will either be filed Sub-bid contractors or sub-contractors under the HVAC contractor: a. Instrumentation and Control for HVAC b. Testing and Balancing Sub-contractor c. Electrical Sub-contractor. Replace ceiling tiles in kind that get damaged as part of the work in this project. HVAC contractor to carry an allowance of $1,000 for ceiling tiles. Any amount unused from this allowance to be credited back to the Client at the end of the project.
