This is a proposed expansion of the City of Sevierville Police Department located off Gary Wade Blvd. The site plan meets all standards and staff recommends approval. _______________________________ The Public Building Authority of the City of Sevierville, Tennessee, as operating contractor and agent for the City of Sevierville, Tennessee ("PBA") invites proposals from qualified Construction firms for Construction Manager at Risk services for the construction of Police Station Expansion. The following pages summarize the scope of work and requirements for the proposal. PBA may consider informal any proposal not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions hereof, and may waive any informality or reject any and all proposals. Any proposal received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. The project will consist of remodeling and additions to the existing Police Department Facility. The addition is to include approximately 7,000 SF for a training center / classroom area for approximately 75 - 80 occupants and additional meeting rooms, detective offices, and administration offices as identified in the architect's programming effort. Remodeled areas (estimated to be approximately 50% of the current facility) are to include: departmental relocations to provide better work flow, relocated administration areas, upgraded storage and departmental integration as identified in the architect's programming effort. The selected Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) will perform typical construction manager at-risk services for the project, as per AIA Document A133 - 2009 Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Construction Manager as Constructor where the basis of payment is the Cost of the Work Plus a Fee with a Guaranteed Maximum Price and AIA document A201 - 2017, General Conditions of the Contract for Construction, with such modifications as may be agreed upon by the parties, or such other appropriate AIA Documents as may be agreed upon by the parties.
