Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project is for the installation of a new intersection on General Booth Blvd at the current location of the Owl's Creek Boat Ramp parking lot entrance as well as a new entrance on the east side of General Booth. This will also serve as the new main entrance to Camp Pendleton and the overflow parking for Owl's Creek. The project will include a new right turn lane on NB General Booth, a new left turn lane on SB General Booth, one inbound lane and two outbound lanes for the new entrance, as well as the installation of a traffic signal at this intersection. The project includes pedestrian crosswalks and signals as well as a potential permeable paver parking lot for Owl's Creek overflow parking. The Virginia Army National Guard would like to install a new main entrance on General Booth Boulevard directly opposite the existing entrance to the Owl’s Creek Boat Ramp parking lot. According to Pendleton officials, the existing entrance is no longer adequate and increasing traffic volume on Birdneck Road hinders the effectiveness of the current entrance. The proposed new entrance would be much more accessible and will meet current standards. Intersection improvements, including a new traffic signal, are included as part of the lease agreement with the Commonwealth. Project is included City of Virginia Beach FY 2023-2028 CIP. As of October 21, 2024, per owner, they are still in the design phase and relocating existing utilities.
