The work in general comprises: 1) Earthwork/grading for the realigned and widened Middle Logan Creek channel -excavating existing channel to a widened channel bottom of 40 feet with 95-foot top width, 3:1 side slopes, and a 5-foot wide and 1-foot deep low flow channel. 2) Transition from natural channel approximately 400 feet upstream of 558th Ave bridge to the trapezoidal widened channel section. 3) Channel improvements with erosion and grade control, placement of new riprap, and other erosion control include turf reinforcement mat, seeding, erosion control blanket, silt fence, etc. 4) New and extended storm drain structures. 5) Removal and replacement of Main St., Douglas St., and 558th Ave bridges. 6) Removal of a 42-foot long pedestrian bridge, not to be replaced. 7) Horizontal roadway realignment for Main St. bridge and vertical roadway realignment for the approaches to Main St., Douglas St. and 538th Ave bridge. 8) Shoo flybridge detour for 558th Ave bridge construction. 9) New 3 strand barb wire fencing, new concrete pavement, and new aggregate pavement; and 10) Installation of a new sanitary sewer siphon system and four domestic waterlines. Site Visit has been scheduled for Tuesday, 27 July 2021 at 10:00 am local time. Participants will meet at 212 East Broadway, Randolph, NE (City Offices of Randolph).
