Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Deland, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a 3,030-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

The project consists of a pre-engineered metal building to house the Fire Station's Apparatus and workshop areas. The project has already been permitted through the City of DeLand's Building Department as part of new Fire Station 81 but will need to be resubmitted to City of DeLand Building Department for approval. The bid documents provided are for bidding purposes only as the awarded contractor will be required to obtain copies of the permitted construction documents afterward. The Civil and Structural drawings have been provided for reference and assistance in preparing the bid packages. All underground utilities, foundations, slab and anchor bolts have already been installed by Keator Construction, are capped and ready for connection by the awarded contractor. Such contractor shall be responsible for only the site work associated with the connections to the existing utilities, final grading and site clean-up. Trident has already provided signed and sealed calculations for the anchor bolts (already installed) and building design. These drawings are being provided with this solicitation package and are to be used as a basis of design. The City would like the selected PEMB vendor to try to utilize these existing anchor bolt locations, if possible. Other vendors/designs will be accepted as long as they are of equal standards, quality and meet all requirements of the bid documents. The awarded contractor shall be responsible for all other scope work pertaining to the Reserve Apparatus Garage.
