As of November 7, 2022, an architect has been chosen. A timeline for bidding has not yet been determined. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. The purpose of this RFP is to provide design services for the Standards Based PSCOC funded project for renovation of the existing facilities at Sierra Vista Elementary School - P19-006 to the GSF pursuant to the Adequacy Planning Guide for 330 students. The facility needs major renovation and facility improvements including but not limited to the areas noted below: a. Site: i. Parking Lot, includes crack repairs and resealing. Concrete sidewalks need replacement where spalling and settling have occurred. Site drainage around the building perimeter, playground areas and overall site needs to be improved. Existing fencing around the site needs to be evaluated and replaced where needed. Playground equipment needs to be evaluated and replaced where required. Shade structures are also needed in main play areas. b. Structural/Exterior: i. Exterior CMU walls in need of repair, joint maintenance and tuck pointing. ii. Partial roofing replacement and skylight replacement. iii. Exterior door and window replacement. c. Interiors: i. Interior doors and casework replacement ii. Replacement of floor and ceiling finishes iii. Electrical and lighting upgrades iv. Administrative Offices reconfigured to address security concerns d. Mechanical/Plumbing: i. Plumbing and restroom upgrades ii. Fire alarm and sprinkler systems iii. New cooling/heating systems iv. Existing water and sewer lines need to be evaluated for potential upgrades/replacement e. Electrical: i. Primary service needs to be evaluated for potential upgrade ii. Secondary service needs to be evaluated for potential upgrade iii. Lighting & fixture replacement/upgrade. Intercon and phone system upgrades iv. New security/camera system v. Evaluate all wiring throughout vi. Evaluate all exterior lighting including parking areas and building lighting
