Demolition, site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in South Hill, Virginia. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The principal work to be performed under this contract consists of, but not limited to the following: Big Fork Booster Station Furnish and erect a split face masonry building extension to the existing booster station building including removal of two (2) existing pumps and its controls, piping modification to the existing portion, installing four (4) new pumps, valves, piping, electrical, generator with ATS, and controls installation. Furnish and install yard piping, valves, etc. at facility. Site work including grading, changes to the parking lot along with asphalt and seeding restoration at facility. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions for Bidders. A performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Evidence of proper registration with the Virginia State Registration Board of Contractors, pursuant to Chapter 7 of Title 54 of the Code of Virginia, must be submitted with each bid. Bidding Documents are available as portable document format (PDF) files for a non-refundable charge of $50.00 per set. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $__190.00__ per set, payable to "B & B Consultants, Inc.", non-refundable. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither the County nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office
