Communications Tower 706 Enterprise Boulevard The scope of work: Base Bid: 1. Provide a new 350 tall communications with associated site and foundation concrete drill shafts. 2. Attached antennae and cabling. 3. Commission tower to designed function & capacity. Alternate #1: 1. Extend tower height to 450 as specified. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the Architect. All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier check, or bid bond payable to the City of Lake Charles, the amount of which shall be five percent (5%) of the base bid and all alternates. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract amount, shall be written by a surety or insurance company currently on the U.S. Department of the Treasury Financial Management Service list (Circular 570) or approved bonding companies which is published annually in the Federal Register 1. Erect 350' self-supporting tower w/R56 tower grounding. 2. Remove & relocate two communication shelters & temporary antenna system/COW. 3. R56 site grounding for both shelters and waveguide bridges. 4. Remove & re-install fencing. 5. Install CALWIN antenna system, Parish 800/Mutual Aid antenna system, & CAER antenna. 6. Manage & coordinate all work, installation, & outages involving the Public Safety Communications.
