Contract A - awarded to Jimmy R Lynch & Sons in the amount of $2,710,352.90 Contract B - awarded to Jimmy R Lynch & Sons in the amount of $63,750 180244 Contract A - Stormwater Improvements - Approximately 2,500 LF of 60", 66" and 84" RCP storm drainage and appurtenances, stormwater pond with precast concrete riser and ductile iron barrel spillway structure. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid security in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. Security may be in the form of cash, a certified check made payable to County of Davidson, NC and drawn on a bank or trust company insured under the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or a Bidder's Bond. Both Performance Bond and a Payment Bond are required in an amount equal to 100 percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract and upon the payment in full to all persons supplying labor and furnishing materials for and in connection with the construction of the project. The Owner reserves the rights to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids and Proposals. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids for a period of ninety (90) days. Any Bids received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids will be returned to the Bidder unopened. Bidders were encouraged to familiarize themselves with the M/WBE requirements as outlined in the blue insert. M/WBE goal is 23.3% participation for this project - 16.4 % minority and 6.9% female.
