The City of Hot Springs, Arkansas, is seeking proposals for an Annual Contract for Liquid Polymer. This Request for Proposals (RFP) contains all the information necessary to prepare and submit a proposal. Prospective proposers are advised to study this RFP completely and follow the instructions exactly The City of Hot Springs is currently using Liquid Polymer in the sludge dewatering process of wastewater. The intent of this proposal is to initiate a contract with a company willing to provide commercial grade Liquid Polymer in accordance with the American Water Works Association's Standards. The product shall be suitable for use in a WWTP sludge dewatering operation. Delivery will be in approximately 275 gallon tote bins on an as needed basis for the City's Davidson Dr. Wastewater Treatment facility. The contract resulting from this RFP will be for a period of (12) twelve months. The contract may be extended for (4) four additional (1) year terms based upon mutual consent of both parties. The Polymer supplied under this contract must be a liquid coagulant specifically designed to suspend solids for removal from water. Polymer shall be compatible with existing City of Hot Springs equipment at the Wastwater Treatment Facility.
