As of 11/02/2021 This project has not been awarded. The project shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work required to satisfactorily complete the Runway 6 Approach Clearing project. Items of work include Silt Fence Installation, Clearing and Grubbing, Gate Installation, Selective Tree Clearing, Stump Grinding, and Seeding and Mulching Operations. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, a deposit of cash or by a certified check payable to Person County, and drawn on some bank or trust company authorized to do business in the State of North Carolina, for an amount equal to 5% of the total base bid, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the required Contract will be executed and the required Performance Bond and Payment Bond furnished within fifteen (15) days after receipt of written notice of formal award of Contract. Person County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Total Contract time allowed for completion of the project shall be 30 calendar days for the base bid The Bidder is aware of subcontract requirements to obtain the goal of 0% of Minority Business Enterprise participation and 0% of Women Business Enterprise participation established for this contract the deadline for submitting questions to “12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021
