Invitation to Bid for Intersection Improvements at FM 1926 (23RD Street) The City of McAllen is accepting bids from qualified bidders for the construction of roadway improvements along FM 1926 (23rd street) at the intersections of Kendlewood, Hackberry, and Ebony Avenues. The project consists of intersection improvements with left turn lanes. A Hard copy of the Bid Bond from a reliable surety company licensed to operate in the State of Texas or certified Cashier's Check, payable without recourse to the City of McAllen, for the amount of not less than five (5) percent (%) of the total bid shall accompany the bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will enter into a contract with the City of McAllen.
