**As of August 30, 2021, project was awarded to Jugany Group, Inc. for $79461.14. HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish Contract(s) for construction and repairs for ten (10) buildings at the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center (CCSSLC) in order to remediate Life Safety Code (LSC) deficiencies related to fire safety and fire and smoke barrier walls. Any contract resulting from this Solicitation will have a term beginning 09-01-2021 and expiring 08-31-2022. This requirement applies to Subcontractor(s) and Subcontractor's personnel who may be used in the performance of services. HHSC maintains the right to reject any or all Responses and to cancel this Solicitation if HHSC, in its sole discretion, considers it to be in the best interests of HHSC to do so. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. The description of requirements, services, specifications for goods which may be required, and deliverables as provided in this Solicitation and any resulting Contract which the Contractor is required to provide. 1. Building 503: Contractor shall provide labor and materials to repair fire barrier walls that have a one (1) hour fire resistance rating to resist the passage of smoke for approximately forty-five (45) feet of wall in the mechanical room of Building 503. Contractor shall remove ceiling tiles and grids to access areas to be fire protected. Contractor shall install fire resistant caulking to ensure the designated areas meet fire rating state inspection requirements. 2. Building 504: Contractor shall provide labor and materials including but not limited to fire caulking, sheetrock, and all ceiling tiles and grids that could sustain damage during the provision of services. Contractor shall construct and/or repair fire barrier walls that have a one (1) hour fire resistance rating to resist the passage of smoke for approximately thirty-nine (39) feet of wall in the mechanical room and sixty (60) feet of wall in the workshop room in Building 504. Contractor shall remove ceiling tiles and grids to access areas to be fire protected. Contractor shall install fire caulking and sheetrock in order to ensure the designated areas meet fire rating state inspection requirements. 3. Building 514: Contractor shall provide labor and materials to repair smoke barrier walls that have a one (1) hour fire resistance rating to resist the passage of smoke for approximately thirty-three (33) feet of wall in the mechanical room of Building 514. Contractor shall remove ceiling tiles and grids to access areas to be fire protected. Install fire resistant caulking to ensure that the designated areas meet fire rating state inspection requirements. 4. Building 518: Contractor shall provide labor and materials to repair smoke barrier walls that have a one (1) hour fire resistance rating to resist the passage of smoke for approximately thirty (30) feet of wall in the mechanical room of Building 518. Contractor shall remove ceiling tiles and grids to access areas to be fire protected. Install fire resistant caulking to ensure that the designated areas meet fire rating state inspection requirements. 5. Building 506: Contractor shall provide labor and materials including but not limited to fire caulking, sheetrock, and all ceiling tiles and grids that could sustain damage during the provision of services. Contractor shall construct and/or repair fire barrier walls that have a one (1) hour fire resistance rating to resist the passage of smoke for approximately forty-eight (48) feet of wall in the mechanical room in Building 506. Contractor shall remove ceiling tiles and grids to access areas to be fire protected. Contractor shall install fire caulking and sheetrock in order to ensure the designated areas meet fire rating state inspection requirements. 6. Building 523: Contractor shall provide labor and materials including but not limited to fire caulking, sheetrock, and all ceiling tiles and grids that could sustain damage during the provision of services. Contractor shall construct and/or repair fire barrier walls that have a one (1) hour fire resistance rating to resist the passage of smoke for approximately twenty-three (23) feet of wall in the storage room and one-hundred and two (102) feet of wall in the hazard room in Building 523. Contractor shall also construct and/or repair fire barrier walls that have a one-half (1/2) hour fire resistance rating to resist the passage of smoke for approximately forty-eight (48) feet of wall that separates the workshop area from the housekeeping side of building 523. Contractor shall remove ceiling tiles and grids to access areas to be fire protected. Contractor shall install fire caulking and sheetrock in order to ensure the designated areas meet fire rating state inspection requirements. 7. Building 522: Contractor shall provide labor and materials including but not limited to fire caulking, sheetrock, and any and all ceiling tiles and grids that could sustain damage during the provision of services. Contractor shall construct and/or repair fire barrier walls that have a one-half (1/2) hour fire resistance rating to resist the passage of smoke to resist the passage of smoke for approximately two-hundred and thirty one (231) feet of wall located along the residential areas in Building 522. Contractor shall remove ceiling tiles and grids to access areas to be fire protected. Contractor shall install fire caulking and sheetrock in order to ensure the designated areas meet fire rating state inspection requirements. 8. Building 524: Contractor shall provide labor and materials including but not limited to fire caulking, sheetrock, and any and all ceiling tiles and grids that could sustain damage during the provision of services. Contractor shall construct and/or repair fire barrier walls that have a one-half (1/2) hour fire resistance rating to resist the passage of smoke for approximately sixty-six (66) feet of wall located along the residential areas in Building 524. Contractor shall remove ceiling tiles and grids to access areas to be fire protected. Contractor shall install fire caulking and sheetrock in order to ensure the designated areas meet fire rating state inspection requirements. 9. Buildings 515, 516: Contractor shall provide labor and materials including but not limited to fire caulking, sheetrock, and any and all ceiling tiles and grids that could sustain damage during the provision of services. Contractor shall construct and/or repair fire barrier walls that have a one-half (1/2) hour fire resistance rating to resist the passage of smoke for approximately thirty-three (33) feet of wall located between Building 515 and Building 516 dining room. Contractor shall remove ceiling tiles and grids to access areas to be fire protected. Contractor shall install fire caulking and sheetrock in order to ensure the designated areas meet fire rating state inspection requirements.
