The project consists of Milling, Patching and Overlay of various curbed and non-curbed city streets in El Reno along with other miscellaneous appurtenances. Each proposal shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Proposal Guaranty in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of Proposal, as guaranty that if the Proposal is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract and furnish the acceptable Performance Bond, Statutory Bond, Maintenance Bond, Owner's Protective Liability Policy, Defect Bond and Certificates of Insurance within fifteen (15) days after the award of the contract. The time allowed for completion of Contract #1 is 400 working days. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project within the allotted time or authorized extensions thereof shall be $500.00 per working day. The City reserves the right to add additional streets, change streets being bid or reduce the number of streets that are listed on the bid schedule, subject to funding. Bids are not tied. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding, for the benefit of the Owner. Fox Engineering, Inc. successful Bidder, simultaneously with the execution of the Contract, will be required to furnish a faithful Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount, Maintenance Bond equal to twenty-five percent (25%) for the first year, and ten percent (10%) for the second and third year; Bonds shall be secured from surety company satisfactory to the Owner Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained at the office of FOX ENGINEERING, INC., 211 "E" STREET NW., P.O.
