The City of Scottsdale is requesting statements of qualifications (SOQ) from qualified Design-Build Managers (DBM) to provide design phase and complete construction services for multiple projects for the Scottsdale Water Department at the Water Campus site, located north of the 101 freeway off E. Hualapai Drive, Scottsdale, Arizona. The primary project is the Scottsdale Water Campus Administration Expansion and New Lab. Also included is the expansion/modification of two additional operations buildings: Maintenance and CAP Water Operations, also located at the Hualapai campus. The City is seeking licensed contractors and registered design professional teams with background developing, designing and constructing successful public facility renovations, particularly laboratory and office facilities. The DBM shall have expert understanding of water and wastewater plant laboratory and operating facilities including SCADA controls, programming of various space needs; laboratory design, office design and experience working on secure occupied sites and in secure occupied work areas. Provide at least three example projects of similar office renovations. The DBM must include a specialized laboratory design and safety consultant with the team. The DBM must provide the qualifications of the laboratory design consultant including the qualifications of the specific laboratory design staff.
