Bedford Residency, Salem District, is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide snow and ice removal services through VDOT's M7B program. If you have any questions prior to the meetings, please contact us Michael Sprouse - Maintenance Operations Manager (Bedford County) |Phone: 540.682.7005 Eddie Pagans - Maintenance Operations Manager (Franklin County) |Phone: 540.330.2454 The Contractor's equipment shall include: vehicles, fuel, chains, supplies, and any tools necessary to insure safe operation and safe equipment. Equipment shall be properly licensed and shall adhere to all applicable federal and state motor vehicle regulations. The Term of this Agreement shall be from the date the vendor Agreement is approved through April 30 of the year following the year of the effective date. The Department reserves the right to reject any offered equipment. VDOT's review of Contractor equipment does not absolve the Contractor of its responsibilities to meet Federal and State equipment requirements. VDOT will perform an equipment verification during each successive renewal period.
