The Denali Borough (DB) is to offer this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the preparation of a boundary land survey near Healy Alaska. Any contract undertaken with the successful bidder hereunder will be between the successful proposer and the Denali Borough. The project priority is to complete a boundary land survey of municipal entitlement tracts nearly Healy Alaska. The successful bidder shall complete ASLS No.2020-03 / ADL's 417602 and 415809, municipal entitlement tracts of approximately 1,051 acres of land approved for conveyance to the Denali borough. Contractors should review this ITB and any subsequent addenda for questions or defects. Inquiries should be directed to Marsha Lambert via email: mlambert@denaliborough.com . Failure to adhere to direction given may be cause for disqualification of the bidder. Denali Borough must receive comments or questions in writing no later than 04:00 PM Wednesday, August 04, 2021. It is the contractor sole responsibility to ensure that bids are received on time The Denali Borough is issuing this ITB. The length of the contract will be from the date of award, approximately September 1st, 2021 for approximately 12 months ending, September1st, 2022. The borough understands the current survey instructions are set to expire May14, 2022 and the borough has submitted a request to DNR to extend the expiration date to May 14, 2023. The borough will provide the approval letter once the extension has been granted. The approximate contract schedule is as follows: Questions or Written Comments Due: August 4, 2021 Denali Borough issues Notice of Intent to Award a Contract: August 23, 2021 Denali Borough issues contract: September 9, 2021 Contract start: September 9, 2021 or upon Denali Borough Final Signature Contractor work period: September, 2021 to September, 2022 or until work is complete, whichever comes first The Denali Borough reserves the right to reject any and all submittals or counterproposals and to waive any informality in procedures or declare negotiations at an impasse and enter into negotiations with the next highest ranked proposer and assumes no liabilities in the event of cancellation of the project. Informalities may include Proposals that do not meet the submission requirements will receive no consideration. Denali Borough assumes no liability in the event of cancellation of the project. Any bidder who is currently more than 30 days past due on a contract delivery date will be ineligible for any award from this ITB. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project.
