The County of Mesa, Colorado, will receive sealed bids for the Palisade Rim Trail Parking Lot Project IFB-21-03146-RTPL. This project is located in Mesa County near the intersection of North river road and Route 6. This is an expansion to the south of the existing Town of Palisade gravel parking lot for the Palisade Rim Trail. Also included with this project is the installation of a vault toilet already purchase by Mesa County. This project is located in Mesa County near the intersection of North river road and Route 6. Also included with this project is the installation of a vault toilet already purchase by Mesa County. The Palisade Rim Trail Parking Lot project includes the expansion of the existing gravel surfaced parking lot off of SH 6 and N. River Road and the installation of a County-furnished prefabricated toilet building. This project is part of the Palisade Plunge Phase II Construction project funded by the Great Outdoors Colorado Trust Fund (GOCO) grant received by Mesa County. A Certified Check or Bank Draft on a responsible bank, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and a recognized Colorado Licensed SuretyCompany payable to Mesa County, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid, shall be submitted with each bid as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract in accordance with this notice, and give bond as hereinafter provided. No bids may be withdrawn after the opening of bids, without consent of Mesa County, for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of opening of bids. The successful bidder or bidders will be required to furnish satisfactory performance bonds equal to the full amount of each bid or bid. All bids must be submitted in writing on the forms provided, and must be signed by the bidder or his duly authorized agent. There is no pre-bid conference for this project, however, Bidders are encouraged to do a site visit. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder, as determined by the statement of qualifications and the bid, which is deemed to be in the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to accept the bidor any portion of the bidby a competent bidder that will result in the lowest cost to the County. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any portion or allbidswithout disclosing the reason therefore. BIDDER shall submit documentation ofpre-qualification meeting the requirements included in the project specifications or as follows: For transportation projects, BIDDER shall submit documentation showing they areColorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) pre-qualified in the Discipline of General Construction work (CDOT Work Code #01). Such pre-qualification shall be in a dollar amount equal to or exceeding the dollar value of the submitted bid. Documentation of pre-qualification will be required to be submitted with the bid.
