Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Barrie, Ontario. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
This Request for Tender is being issued by the County of Simcoe on behalf of Simcoe County Housing Corporation (SCHC). The SCHC is requesting tenders for removal and disposal of designated substances and hazardous materials from existing buildings located on the project site, demolition of existing buildings, including removal of foundation walls and footings, and backfilling and rough grading in the area of demolition. There are two existing buildings on site. Building A: the main building is a two storey building approximately 20,535 square feet consisting mostly of office space and a basement, while Building B: is a single storey garage, slab on grade approximately 5,959 square feet consisting of 8 bays including oil water separator and some office space. The demolition contract includes the removal of all structures, hard surfaces, and below grade elements including the communication tower bases. The contractor is also responsible for all permits, utility locates and coordination with utility disconnects.
