The Project includes the following Work: Construction for improvements of Laurel Street. Including roadway improvements, sidewalk & accessible ramps, right-of-way encroachment removals, storm sewer improvements, water services replacement, new sanitary sewer main and services replacement. The Work shall be completed under one Contract and consists of all labor, skill and materials required to properly construct the Project. The Project generally consists of the following primary components: Bids are requested for the following Contract: Contract No. 1 Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $1,000,000+. The Project has an expected duration of 330 days. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order Nos. 11246 (Equal Employment) as amended, 11518 (Small Business Concerns), and 11625 (MBE) as amended. The requirement for bidders and contractors under these orders are explained in the specifications. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Title 40 CFR 33.240 and Executive Order 12138 (WBE). The requirements for bidders and contractors under this regulation that concerns utilization of Disadvantaged/Minority Business Enterprises (DBE/MBE) and Women's Business Enterprises (WBE) are explained in the specifications. The successful bidder - including any contactors on the project, must be registered in SAM (system of Award Management).
