Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Stow, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of 02/10/2022 This project has not been awarded. Unit Price Contract Bid to furnish labor, materials, and equipment necessary for removal of existing asphalt parking lot, replace any sub suitable materials, fine grade and replace with new asphalt binder/top with asphalt berm. Bid Deposit: Bid Bond in the amount of 5% or more of bid price. Surety Bonds: Performance Bond - 100% of Contract Price. Payment Bond - 50% of Contract Price. For construction contracts bid under Chapter 149, Sect. 44A, for building projects totaling more than $100,000, all bidders must be pre-qualified under the Massachusetts Executive Office for Administration and Finance, Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAM) Laws regarding Prequalification of Bidders For construction projects funded by State funding sources, the Contractor must meet the requirements of Chapter 29, Section 8B of the Massachusetts General Laws whereby each prospective Bidder proposing to bid on any work to be awarded by a municipality under the provisions of Section 37 of Chapter 90, must be pre-qualified in accordance with 720 CMR 5.00. Massachusetts Labor Laws regarding minimum wage rates and employment conditions apply (see Sect. 3.5). The right is reserved by the Town Administrator of the Town of Stow, to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest so to do.
