Site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in La Prairie, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a three-story above grade, 28-room educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Construction of an addition to the De La Magdeleine High School of the Centre de services scolaire des Grandes Seigneuries in order to reduce the space deficit recognized by the Ministry of Education. The scope of the project includes construction of an addition that will house 28 classrooms and a double gymnasium and will allow to add 816 students bringing their total number to 2,761. The project will also include some alterations to the existing building. TIMELINE. The project is preliminary and under study at the Société Québecoise des Infrastructures which has included it in the Quebec Infrastructure Plan (PQI) and the Quebec Treasury Board Secretariat list of projects with amounts equal or exceeding $50 million. Development of the project business case in underway. Functional Program of the project prepared by awarded professional consultant is under review. Provincial decision on the scope of work and timelines of the project development is anticipated in mid- to late 2026.
