Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. Design plans call for the construction of a medical facility.
EMS Station 1: 1632 North Croatan Hwy., Kill Devil Hills. This will be a replacement facility with joint use with the Town of Kill Devil Hills. It is contemplated the facility will house County EMS and Town Fire Department. This project had a substantial completion date of July 30, 2024. EMS Station 5: 5314 South Croatan Hwy., Nags Head, which is shared space with Nags Head Fire Department. This station will need to be an expansion to the Town-owned re station to accommodate the Emergency Medical Services crew or a new facility for the County's EMS. As of March 7, 2025, this project is in design. A timeline for construction has not been announced. It is projected to bid that project sometime in June 2025.
