Contract award will be considered on September 8, 2021 at the Board of Supervisors meeting beginning at 7:00 PM at the Kimberton Fire Co., 2276 Kimberton Road, Kimberton PA. The project involves the repair and reinforcement of an existing Bank along a portion of the Pickering Creek. The successful bidder will be required to pay the online Program a fee of 1/3 % of the contract value award. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum of $5,000.00 Proposals shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal. Proposals shall be effective for 90 days from the date of opening. The successful low bidder will be required to provide a 100% performance bond or certified check, a 100% payment bond or certified check, a workers compensation affidavit, and a certificate of insurance naming East Pikeland Township and LTL Consultants as additional insureds, all within 20 days after the contract is awarded. East Pikeland Township reserves the right to waive any non-material defects or irregularities in the bid, and to reject any or all bids or portions thereof.
