Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Lincoln, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The City of Lincoln, hereinafter called Owner is requesting proposals from qualified firms to submit proposal responses for consultant services for Lincoln's Greater Downtown Principal Corridors Design and Phase 1 Construction Project. The Owner intends to select a consultant based on the evaluation criteria outlined herein which will accomplish the objectives of the project while incorporating innovative and cost-effective methods. The successful firm(s) will be responsible for remaining on established schedules for all services rendered to meet the proposed schedule for the project deliverable(s). The purpose of this project is revitalization of Greater Downtown's three principal corridors as entryways, with improved connectivity to neighborhoods, walkable streetscapes, activated alleys, and building facade enhancements which will catalyze private investment throughout Greater Downtown Lincoln. The City of Lincoln is seeking a qualified professional architectural and engineering firm, or team of firms, to develop a conceptual design and implementation plan for the 9th and 10th Street Corridors from S to L Streets and O Street Corridor from 9th to 28th Street, as well as the Phase I design and construction documents.
