Project no- 2003174 City of Aurora NOTICE TO BIDDERS 21-59 Description of Work Name: McCoy Street Pedestrian Bridge Repairs Aurora, IL Scope of Services: The City is seeking bids for three scope alternates including rehabilitation, rehabilitation with complete repainting, and removal and replacement of entire pedestrian bridge in kind. Rehabilitation scope includes furnishing and erecting structural steel, localized washing and painting, sealing bridge abutments, and timber deck removal and replacement. PLEASE NOTE: There will be no pre-bid meeting for this project. Any questions regarding this bid opportunity shall be submitted to the Director of Purchasing via email at purchasingDL@aurora.il.us by no later than 5:00 pm, Monday, August 9, 2021. Addendums will be posted by 12:00 pm, Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Any questions received after this date will not be addressed via Addendum and will not be reflected in the project scope. The City reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in Standard Provisions for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals contained in the Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions. The City encourages minority business firms to submit proposals and encourages the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
