Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Hartford, Connecticut. Design plans call for the construction of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.

As of August 9, 2022, an architect has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to September 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Housing Authority of the City of Hartford (the "Authority" or "HACH") extends an invitation to architecture/engineering ("A/E") firms to submit a statement of their qualifications to the Authority. The A/E firm's qualifications should indicate the ability to perform work required in a timely and sufficient manner. The A/E firm and all professional consultants contracted by the A/E firm to carry out the design, construction must be licensed to perform services in the State of Connecticut and have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant, multifamily residential design and construction experience. Any obligations of Respondents in this solicitation continue to be obligations of the Contractor^) when awarded. Last Day for Questions: August 11, 2021 The selected vendor will assist the Authority in its planning and construction of a new affordable housing development on the site of the Authority's Mary Shepard Place developmcnt-15 Pavilion Street, Hartford, CT. The project is a Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) project, and therefore, current residents will have the right to return to the development. This will require the Authority to maintain, at a minimum, the existing number of units and unit mix at the site. There are currently 127 units which include the following unit mix: 4-4 bedroom; 33 - 3 bedroom: 77- 2 bedroom; and 13-1 bedroom. The Authority reserves the unqualified right to accept or reject any and all submissions, and to waive any irregularities or deficiencies as may be permitted by law when it is deemed that such action will be in the best interest of the Authority. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
