Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Salisbury, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; water / sewer project; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

* Award subject to final approval. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Bid Price, or a Certified Cheque or Bank Draft in the amount of fifteen (15) percent of the Bid Price, payable to the Village of Salisbury. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labour and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of fifty (50) percent of the value of the Contract, or a fifteen (15) percent Certified Cheque upon award of contract. Contractors are advised that Work under this Contract includes the supply of all labour, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the Route 112 Pedestrian Rail Crossing project located in the Village of Salisbury, New Brunswick. Work generally includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Coordination with, and scheduling of CN flagging protection while working on CN property and/or within the railway right-of-way limits. .2 Installation of a 1050mm diameter owner-supplied concrete culvert across Route 112 including removal and disposal of the existing culvert. Work to be completed in conjunction with CN track rehabilitation work being completed by CN. .3 Driveway culvert renewal and storm sewer system modifications including supply, installation and removal and disposal of existing systems. .4 Grubbing, excavation, ditch infilling, removals and disposals. .5 Supply and installation of concrete sidewalk and concrete curb and gutter c/w curb drain. .6 Supply and installation of aggregate base and subbase and asphalt concrete trench restoration. .7 Supply and installation of pedestrian crossing line markings, signage and timber pedestrian railing. .8 Reinstatement of all disturbed areas. The Village of Salisbury may consider past performance, local contractors, reputation, proposed time-frame and other factors in selection the successful bid.
