The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, supplies and materials necessary to replace the existing metal roof on the Navigation Building located at 2611 Shippingport Drive, Louisville, KY 40212. The contractor's work and responsibility will include all planning, programming, administration, management, supervision, communications, and inspection necessary to assure that all work is conducted in accordance with the contract requirements and all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations. All work will be performed in strict compliance with the attached specifications and all other terms and conditions incorporated herein. Work will begin after 7 days award and will conclude 30 calendar days after award. Remove and Install New 26ga. Metal Ridge Cap with Roof Vents. The contractor will remove the existing ridge cap and replace it with a new 26ga metal ridge cap with vents of the same color as the rest of the building. Remove and Install New 26ga. Metal Rake with Foam Closures, Remove and Install New 26ga Gutter. The contractor will remove existing boot seals around the (1) bathroom vent and the (1) split boot around the satellite pole and replace with new. Reseal Gable Louvered Vent and Inspect and Seal Roof Fasteners .The contractor will reseal existing gable louver above overhead door on the north end of the building. Inspect and Seal Roof Fasteners . The contractor will inspect, tighten and replace fasteners with sealant or new hardware if rust is evident.
