The project includes, but is not limited to: removing and replacing exterior metal siding and manual sliding doors on two 8-bay T-hangars, roofing replacement on one of the 8-bay T-hangars, insulating the roofs of both T-hangars, and installing a new bi-fold door lift strap conversion kit on an existing 60 x 22 bi-fold door. Therefore, all Bidders shall be responsible for downloading the bid documents from the Garver Online Plan Room in order to be included in the Plan Holders List. Prime bidders must be registered on the plan holders list in order to submit a bid on the project. Bidders must enter any addenda received on the Bid Form to verify receipt. For technical questions regarding the project, contact Mark Upchurch, PE at 615-927- 6150. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid security in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security shall be made payable to the Russellville-Logan County Airport Board. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in accordance with the Contract Documents. Bidders must be pre-qualified to perform work within the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Both Prime contractor and all subcontractors shall also be pre-qualified to do work in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the area of work they will be performing under this contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids and bidding deemed to be in the best interests of the Russellville-Logan County Airport Board, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional bids. Bids must remain in effect for 60 days after the bid opening date.
